The Supreme Court decision to uphold Trump's Muslim ban was a failure of historic proportions. But it is ultimately the people of this country who will determine its character and future. In the first 24 hours of the Muslim ban, two of the defining themes of Donald Trump's presidency emerged: his determination to stamp anti-Muslim bigotry into national policy, and the key roles of the courts and the public in stopping him. In these moments, it is important for us all to come together as one community and build a space for discussion, support and solidarity.
That is why the ACLU of Tennessee and the American Muslim Advisory Council are partnering on a community forum to welcome any and all community members to discuss how this decision will impact all of us as Muslims and refugees, family, friends and neighbors.

The court's decision was one case. Today is not the end. As with other struggles in history, change comes when people work together and build a movement. We hope you will join us in continuing to build a movement to fight against the Muslim ban. We're in it until we win it.
