President Trump is coming to Nashville and Senators Corker and Alexander will be in attendance. Join ACLU-TN this Wednesday, March 15 in downtown Nashville to mobilize against recent attacks on civil liberties by the White House and Congress -- from the Muslim ban to attacks on immigrants to efforts to defund Planned Parenthood and more.
- 4 p.m. – ACLU-TN will be stationed at Woodland and S 1st Street, handing out signs while supplies last. To find us, look for our ACLU-TN banner/signs.
- 4:30 p.m. – We’ll start walking towards 1 Public Square.
- 5 p.m. – There will be a short rally at Public Square Park.
- 5:30 p.m. – March toward Municipal Auditorium where the Trump event is being held.
While we have a general idea which streets will be closed by law enforcement, we don’t know exactly which streets or which areas will be inaccessible. Additionally, parking will most likely be extremely limited. Plan to arrive early and carpool or ride share if possible.
RSVP for this event through ACLU's People Power.
